Our marine-safe and non-toxic polymer, Hydropol™, is a versatile material that can be used for several applications and packaging products whilst providing end-of-life options.
For example, in the wake of COVID-19, laundry bags and infection control bags made of Hydropol have been vital in limiting exposure to this deadly virus as keyworkers and frontline staff prevent the risk of cross-contamination whilst keeping themselves, their colleagues and their loved ones safe.
Aquapak has partnered with fellow British brand, Echo Packaging to produce these bags in hot and warm water-soluble grades for domestic and industrial use and allows more organisations and businesses to benefit from these products without adding to the world’s plastic pollution problem. which has dominated our news as more and more plastic is being used for PPE to protect against coronavirus.
