Aquapak welcomed some important guests to its Head Office in the Midlands last week to take a tour of the manufacturing facilities and discover how Hydropol is pioneering recyclable and biodegradable packaging.
On Friday 25th September Aquapak welcomed the UK Secretary of State for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, Alok Sharma; Mayor of West Midlands, Andy Street and the MP for Northfield – Birmingham, Gary Sambrook to its Midlands-based manufacturing facility.
Speaking on Twitter, Alok Sharma said: “Businesses like Aquapak Polymers are driving our green economic recovery, pioneering sustainable tech and providing jobs and growth in their local communities.”
Andy Street commented: “On Friday we welcomed Business Secretary Alok Sharma to the region to meet businesses in metals, innovative packaging and retail to give them their opportunity to talk to Govt directly about their challenges, opportunities and how they can help WM business succeed and create jobs.”
